We will begin our English this term by reading our new class book (Leaf). We will then immerse ourselves in the story by acting out scenes and hot seating certain characters. We will then use this to write our own diary entries from the perspective of chosen characters!.

In Maths this term, we will be covering mass and capacity, money and time. This will consist of the children learning up how measure, compare add and subtract different weights, then moving to adding and subtracting different amounts of money and finally, reading the time up to 5 minutes.

Our topic this term is history - the Windrush Generation! We will be describing the links between Britain and the Caribbean, describing who the Windrush Generation were and explaining why they wanted to settle in UK and how life would have been for them after doing so.

Our next science topic this term is animals including humans. During this topic we will be looking at how our skeletons and bones affect what we dove and how me move, what our muscles do and discussing similarities and differences between animals skeletons and our own.
